A wireless relay system that allows emergency vehicles to transmit a unique frequency signal from the vehicle in motion to a receiving fixed box attached to a street pole or similar structure. The signal, once received, is transmitted directly to a light at the subsequent intersection where a directional light is activated thereby informing motorists, cyclists and pedestrians that an emergency vehicle is approaching from a specific direction.

Background
Accidents involving emergency vehicles—such as fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars—are a
substantial problem in the United States. Vehicle fatality rates for emergency responders are
estimated to be up to 4.8 times higher than the national average. Because emergency vehicles
are traveling at higher speeds to reach crisis situations, accidents often result in severe injury or
death.

ALERT SYSTEM
Linked to local authorities
Triggering events may be recorded and routed to local authorities (County or State) for traffic administration and immediate response to localized events.

It is a foregone conclusion that in more than 80% of the cases, emergency vehicles are neither heard nor seen approaching. Motorists are often distracted by whatever is happening inside of their vehicles (texting, answering calls, listening to music, arguiging). Thus, emergency vehicles are forced to maneuver through traffic, delaying their response time and placing themselves at risk.

Our directional emergency lights offer motorists and emergency responders the ability to know the direction of the emergency vehicles in advance, thereby allowing traffic to move aside as much and as quickly as possible to facilitate circulation and save lives.
